Local wine
There are a number of local wine yards in our area, and this time we chose for Le Clos des Roses, which is located in the outskirts of Frejus, close to the A8.
Besides the wine yard, there is a little chapel, a rose garden, lots of outdoor art pieces, a hotel and a restaurant. We started in the restaurant where some had wine and cheese, and others had coffee and cake.
Then we took a self guided tour around the estate and finished off with a wine tasting.
Needless to say, we left with a nice amount of rosé in the back of the car.
